Anchor Clubs

Since Pilot International was chartered in 1921, Pilot Clubs have undertaken service projects involving young people and their needs. In 1952, Pilot adopted the program of sponsoring Anchor Clubs. Anchor is now 50 years old and is made up of over 10,000 members.

Anchor members discover the importance of working together--no single member can accomplish the service that the members can as a team.

3rd Annual Virginia Anchor Convention

The 3rd annual District Anchor Convention was held Saturday, April 30 from 9 -1pm at the Girl Scout Center on Cedar Rd in Chesapeake, VA. The theme was Anchors Away at the Outback and was a fun-filled, educational opportunity to visit 9 sites for an amazing race concept. District Anchor Coordinator Karen Gawne and Luncheon Chesapeake member, Ann Myers, planned an exceptional day for our District anchors to have fun and develop leadership and teamwork skills.
